ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
Notice is hereby given that the annual general meeting of
Ngāti Hauā Iwi Trust will be held at
Kai a Te Mata Marae, 7 Kereone Road, Morrinsville on
Sunday 15 December 2024 at
10.30am for the following purposes:
- To receive the report on the operations of the Ngāti Hauā Group for the periods ending 31 March 2023 and 31 March 2024
- To present the Annual Report and duly audited Consolidated Financial Statements for the periods 31 March 2023 and 31 March 2024;
- To approve the appointment of the auditor for the next Income Year;
- To approve the Trustees remuneration;
- To approve and ratify the Trust’s AGM timetable and documentation (see explanatory note below); and
- To discuss any other General Business matters.

Explanatory Note:
Certain irregularities were approved and ratified by the beneficiaries present at the Trust’s AGM held on 13 April 2024. However due to additional unforeseen delays including in the audit process, the Trustees acknowledge that it has not been practicable to follow the amended AGM process as approved at that meeting, and seek beneficiary ratification by way of the following motion:
That the beneficiaries acknowledge, approve and ratify any variance from the AGM process as approved at the Trust’s Annual General Meeting held on 13 April 2024, including the presentation of the audited financial statements for financial years ending 31 March 2023 and 31 March 2024, arising from factors outside of the Trustee’s control.
